Fully operational Hickok 539A professional quality tube tester. For starters, I tested the type 83 and 5Y3GT rectifier tubes in the circuitry underneath and they tested strong. I then re-tensioned the 9-pin socket and tested a number of common tubes (12AX7, 12AU7, 5Y3GT, 6L6GC, 83) with it and compared the results with my professionally-calibrated Hickok 539B tester. There was very good agreement.
I found no problems with the unit. Roll chart works fine. Includes factory cable for plate caps.
Cosmetically, some of the Tolex covering was in bad shape, so I replaced the bad sections with newly purchased Tolex from Antique Electronic Supply. It looks pretty good now.
