I bought this as a back-up to my everydaygo-to, a TV-7B/U, but I have too many back-ups, so this one is up for sale. Itis working well and compares favorably with my recently calibrated TV-7B/U. Thetube chart rolls very smoothly and the sockets seem nice and tight. The deck unititself looks to be very clean and crisp, and the switches feel good and smooth,as they should. The capacitors have been replaced and the meter has overvoltage protection in place. The 5Y3 tube is good and the 83 tube is a solidstate replacement. The power cord is very pliable. Thereis no top to this case and the bottom has typical wear as you would expect forits age. This Hickok 800 should make a very nice bench tester for someone.

The pictures show a good 6L6 being tested andbad 6A8 being tested, plus the line voltage being set. A nice copy of themanual, which is pictured, will also be included.
