A FrenchArt Deco Monumental Faience Charger / Platter by Longwy signed by Raymond Chevallier. It measures a gigantoid 25 1/2\" or 65cm in diameter. We show some objects for scale; a 9\" dinner plate and some large pieces of fruit and a large tea cup. We happily report that the condition is excellent and undamaged. There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs. There is some superficial, very minor, and unobtrusive scratches at the edge (I mention this for accuracies sake only as they are exceedingly minor and inconsequential). It has multiple marks to the back as follows: Societe Des Faienceries / Longwy / France, R. Chevallier in script, a paper label with the No. 51, incised number 1644, and another incised round mark that is obscured by glaze. Please note that it has, by design, a wire hanger so as to use this as a wall plaque. We urge you to pull out a ruler and understand the size of this piece.
