This sale is for a figural cast iron cap gun corresponding to H18.1 in Logan & Best\'sCast Iron Toy Guns and Capshooters. According to L&B it was made in 1890 by Ives, and is 5 3/8\" long. Titled \"Hunter\" and depicting a wolf, it is in excellent condition. As to the mechanism: the hammer will not remain set back in the cocked position. This is a beautiful piece that would surely bring joy to any collector of these fine old toys.
