The Port Townsend Aero Museum is offering this very nice Icom IC-A24 handheld VHF/VOR/CDI Air Band Tranceiver with for sale. The Icom IC-A24 is both a VHF comm and a navigation handheld radio. It is in excellent condition, showing little to no sign of ever having been used. Included in this sale is its original Icom box, a BC-110AR wall charger, pocket clip, headset adapter, and holster. This radio is in good working order and will give years ofdependableservice. I charged the battery in the radio after we received it as a donation from a gentleman who had given up flying small aircraft. It seems to be holding its charge just fine, but I do not know how this battery would compare to a brand new ICOM battery pack in terms of battery life. If you win the offer on this radio you might want to consider buying a spare battery.
