1966? International 500 Crawler Loader/Dozer. Perfect for someone looking to restore one of these old original IH 500\'s. I finished what I needed it for, and it\'s too rare/ original to part out. Runs, turns both ways,( but not really well all the time, needs adjusting again. Levers need to be pulled all the way back.) hydraulics are good with no obvious leaks in either hydraulics or engine/trans. that I can see. Pins on hydraulics/lift arms are still tight. I bought it with only 1699 hrs., so I put about 70 or so hrs. on it with no problems. 5-speed trans. Has power shift option that works GREAT. 4 cylinder gas engine. The engine has blow-by, and is down on power, and uses oil.(1 qt-6 gal. gas approx.) Rubber hose was torn betwen air cleaner and carb when I got it, so the rings are most likely worn. Engine oil pressure is 50psi cold, 20psi or so hot. Has never not started. 84\" straight blade lifts to approx. 10\' to bottom of blade..great for pushing over trees, etc. Good cutting edge. Has more aggressive 12\" track pads than most crawler/loaders. Comes with approx. 64\" loader bucket, but I\'ve never had it mounted on the machine. Tracks are stretched, and you can see in the pictures the hyd. track adjusters are at the end of their travel, and were blocked at that length at some point. Drive sprockets have some wear, front idlers look pretty good, actually. 5 bottom rollers with inner and outer rock guards. Noticed some play in front two bottom rollers on each side, but don\'t really know about the others. Bushings on track chains don\'t look to have been turned, and have moderate wear. I have the original caged lights for the front and a round light that goes, I think, in the back, and the original operators manual. I changed all hydraulic/trans/final drive oil when I got it, and engine oil 4 times in 70 hrs. Has both engine oil and hyd. filters. Pretty much all original and all there.Original paint. Good sheet metal. Needs seat and armrest upholstery. Needs engine overhaul and tracks shortened. Would turn better with healthy engine. I\'d like to restore it, but I\'m buried in projects as it is.
