This is a very rare ORIGINAL Edward S. Curtis Photograph, done circa 1904. Depicting a Navajo manin ceremonial dress representing the Yebichai god Zahadolzha.This was a nine day ceremony, theNightway chant (Tłʼééʼjí),is done to restore Hózhǫ́ especially after head ailments or mental illnesses. (It was not forofferden to photograph this part of the ceremony.)
