Very cool grouping from a Marine in Battery D 2nd Battalion 10th Marines, includes early engraved dog tags, small notebook diary, 31 one sided pages of pencil notes from January 4-Feburary 18, 1943, (last page looks like he put Jan. instead of Feb for when he left the island). Pages are now separated. Original paper for invasion with instructions that it be destroyed, many ticket stubs from New Zeeland, some photos, other papers, some salty poems, patches, Japanese Hunting license, very complete and rare!
