ISI - Atlas Missile Space Launcher Japan Rare Toy !!!!
Well, From time to time rare spacetoys cross my path that make my heart beat faster for sure.
This Missile Launcher from ISI Japan was made in the early sixties and this is a toy that i can not remember ever seen before.
Made out of lithographed tin and battery operated. In action this launcher can fire wooden rockets, drives along and raises its barrel to fire its rockets. The laucher has a lighted radarscreen as well and a tin lithographed and lighted antenna.
The condition is excellent and the toy is in amazing condition. some things to mention: there are some minor corrosionspots in the batterycompartment and a tiny hole in the cover. the cover looks to be repainted somewhere in the toys life but not sure about that
The antenna is original but the bulb needs to bereplaced, it does not light up anymore. the 2 white rockets are for display but does not belong to this rocket. The launcher need 2 wooden rockets which are available at classic tin toy company.
Works fine and strong, radar screen lights up and the gun raises while the toy rolls along.
A fantastic example of this scarce and ultra rare spacetoy, made in Japan by ISI.I will sell this toy in a real sale with a low startingprice and price !
