Apple MBA battery replacement
My older engineer brother installed this and a needed trackpad at the same time on my MBA this past Sunday. An initial scramble for the right tools but he found his and then later at the bottom of the box, what you supplied. it’s great you include them - but maybe closer to the top? QUESTION: the battery has a plastic film on each of the 4 cores and they don’t come off as easily as a film over the face of a new phone for instance, very tacky and sticky. What is the function and are they intended to stay on or be removed? More information about that would have been helpful. They are somewhat crinkled looking like it had been stored in high heat conditions for a while. Would appreciate a reply. Appears to be the proper replacement batttery for rmy Macbook. Easy to install. Well packaged and included two different size screwdrivers. Some competitors offer 2 yr warranties instead of the 1 yr. I'm taking a chance on this one. We'll see.
