I had a MagicJack before it could be directly connected to the router. A company called NetTalk offered the option to connect to the router so I bought it. Lately it has been dropping off the internet so I bought a new MagicJack Go. The MagicJack Go has stayed connected to the internet without dropping off since I first connected it. It works good.

The phone works fine for calls, the voice mail works good. The only real problems I see are with the magic jack app. If you plan to replace a cell phone and use this phone and rely on the app for texting, you will probably be disappointed. The texting is practically useless. Sometimes the text won't go through at all, or sometimes only part of the text will go through, plus the magic jack app has weird glitches where it will just randomly pop up on the screen for no reason. This product would be great if they just took some time to fix the bugs in the app.

I have two separate units supporting two locations with landlines without the major Telcom costs. Other than this being the 3rd set of hardware at one of the locations within the past 4 years, all is acceptable. With this latest hardware purchase, I bought the 3yr warranty so if/when the hardware fails, I get it replaced. I still recommend this for anyone wishing to maintain landlines without the prohibitive phone company charges.

I have had a magic Jack for 8 years. Sometimes the sound quality is great sometimes not. It is a crap shoot. It also goes on and off it it gets bumped. It is cheap home phone but I just renewed and then was sent a message the next couple days after paying that I needed to pay them another 10 dollars for 911 service and if I didn't the county where I live might bill me themselves. Now had they told me that before I reuped I wouldn't have.

I really like this product for what it does. It is a great value for a low cost. We had given up on having a home phone, but now we do. The quality of voice is good. The only drawback I can think of is that it is dependent on the internet connection which does go out from time to time. The features kind of cancel that out however since it allows callers to leave messages. It is feature rich. The only problem I had was that I had to download and install drivers for Windows 10. I am sure that will or has already been addressed.
