It was a snug fit for my iPad 4th generation and I almost didn't think it fit properly. But after inserting the iPad into it from different angles, I found the one that made it stay and lock in. I bought it as a replacement for a case that was worn out and it was exactly the same style. Just as nice as my first one.

Seller was fine, but don’t waste your time and money. This product sounds good but it is so flimsy it is rarely able to hold the iPad up independently (without a book to prop it up). Incremental cuts in a cheap velour covered cardboard are too shallow for the width and weight of the iPad. Offers minimal protection with only a PU “leather” second part (comes as one unit...a sort of strange large-greeting card layout). It has a unique if irrelevant 360 spin thing that just means you don’t have to take it out of the “case” to change orientations. I’m so disappointed! It’s been hard finding something to do what this does and it seems like such a simple thing to buy. I’m planning to return this as soon as I have an alternative.

There are two factors affecting my review. The cover does not always turn off the iPad when closed, and the iPad often falls out of the built-in indentions designed to hold the iPad when viewing when holding in my lap. It does seem very well constructed though, and the leather construction should last a long time.
