Manufacturers charge way too much for their ink. That's where they make enormous profits. Unfortunately, I have had bad luck buying much cheaper OEM ink. It seems like the off brand ink ends up clogging my print heads and ruining my printer. So in order to keep the printer running, I over pay with brand name ink. It just seems strange that for $10-$20 more than a set of manufacturer ink cartridges, I can buy a whole new printer.

My opinion is ink cartridges are over priced and under preform. They are the cash cow for printer manufacturers. Instead of offering the same ink cartridge for any number of printers, we are forced to purchase new/different ink cartridges when we change printers. Think of safety razor blades. The initial purchase price of the razor is relatively low - the replacement blades are very, very expensive. The parallel is obvious. The consumer has little or no choice other than pay inflated prices. How unfortunate that the consumer must overpay for a product that under preforms (lasts a relatively short period of time for the money spent).

This ink is a value. It prints well and the price is reasonable. Great buy compared to the office supply stores. I also received it quickly.

Not the best quality. If you just need to print personal stuff it's ok. But not for professional use or school.
