This display really has it all. Both DVI and VGA video ports AND cables. 4 built-in USB ports with a USB cable hooking into your computer. Can be used with both a Mac and a PC (I'm using it with my G5). Beautiful colors and resolution. Entire display can rotate 90 degrees for portrait vs. landscape viewing options. Extremely solid built flat panel, especially the base, where so many flat panels get cheap on you and use plastic. This display can actually rise up and down 5 inches using a very impressive lift device (hydraulic perhaps??)!! (no more putting your display ontop of phone books). The case design and coloring (black with a silverish band going around the outside of the bezel) and low profile bezel make it look great on your desk. There are no cons I can say about this display.Read full review
Pros: First of all, this is a Dell LCD and has a reputation for lasting. Better if you can buy this from a business environment rather than someone's personal system where it has been in use every day. It is versatile, has an excellent contrast ratio (1000:1) and the refresh rate is reasonable. It is appropriate for all applications except high-end 3-D gaming. Still great for most games including WOW. The convenient USB ports and DVI optional port are part of an overall superior design. Cons: Not many. This monitor prefers 1280x1024 resolution which is limiting for 3D graphics games from a 512m video card. Also, the 4x3 format might not be to everyone's liking. Conclusion: If you can get one under $120 (delivered), these are great monitors for the money. I have purchased nine of them so far. This is the best monitor bang for your buck out there right now as long as you aren't high end gaming.Read full review
Awesome monitor, Very crisp sharp picture it says gray but the monitor is actually 2 tone black and gray (very classy looking). It has 2 USB ports on the side which make it nice for things like IPOD's and Digital camera downloading. I would have to say 2 thumbs up its a great monitor. If your thinking about purchasing, Get it! You will not be disappointed. I have owned this for a few months and I don't have a single complaint and I am very picky In its price range it simply cant be Beat and Dude its a Dell go get it already!
I highly recommend this monitor to anyone who wants just a basic monitor for their desktop. While some people like wide screen monitors or just plain big ones, this monitor is big enough for me. Everything is displayed on the monitor very clearly. I did not know that this monitor was so adjustable when I saw it online, but that is one of the best things for our present computer situation. I did not know that there were four USB ports, but that is also a great asset. One thing that I do not like about it is how difficult it is to connect the monitor to your computer because of the location of the ports. However, this should not be the deciding factor in your purchase. You probably will not be messing with that much once you have gotten it hooked up.
This is a great monitor to buy because it have the convenience of providing mutiple usb ports. It also have factory restore so if you get the screen a little off you can reset it. It also rotates up and down and front to back. I just wish it also rotated side to side. Over all this is one of the best monitors I have had. Would purchase again.
