Overbuilt. Probably a Good Thing
This is really a beautifully robust piece of kit at a great price. The heavy duty coating must render it the equivalent of two 16 gauge wires stuck together. The manufacturer's recommendation is that this be for permanent installations only and I concur. The sound quality is wonderful. My only concern is that the sheer weight of this thing is ultimately too much for the little pins to which it is attached.
