works well, bail stuck a little when cranking the handle then worked as should affter a little while. very thick strong bail. very smooth. we were catching 12-15 inch strippers so no big runs on the drag but when it did go a small amount it was very smooth. would buy again. better than the okumas we have but also twice the price.

Good reel with good ratio, but it needs a regular service (cleaning, oil). System is sensitive to salt water with sand. I saw this necessity after 1 time fishing on sandy beach.
