Bare Bones Dell T7500 workstation- Excellent condition and just what I wanted. Add your own parts was what needed and that is what I got- Dell T7500 workstations are very durable and plentiful, for a few dollars and knowledge in buying parts, it is a very good way to build a solid workstation. With this particular machine I already had the bulk of parts and now have another powerful workstation for next to nothing. Dell workstations are pretty much bullet-prove and I highly recommend them for not only their desktops but laptops as well- Solid value and excellent performance- CentOS 7 with VirtualBox, dual Xeon processors, a ton of memory and run as many OS's as your heart desires.

No way near bleeding edge but VERY, VERY pleased...Computer is super fast...I installed 2 SSD, one for Windows 7 and one from Linux Mint 17.2, upgraded memory to 48G, added 3 TB of disk, a USB 3 card with port extension to front...Going to add a Quadro 4000 and a LSI 9212-4i4e for SATA III speeds. Will have less than $625 tied up in this system...Not current technology, but still a honking system at a very reduced price....

The Computer worked out of the box but not without problems. It was loaded with the Original Windows 7 pro that was not updated since it came out of the box. MANY UPGRADES WERE REQUIRED TO BRING IT UP TO SPEED AND PERFORMANCE BUT NOW ITS ONE OF THE FASTEST I EVER HAD. The main problem was that Windows Update did not work and some other programs like internet explorer. It took 3 weeks for me to solve the major problems. Now it works much better but still takes 35 seconds of black screen until Dell Logo appears, another 30 Seconds until Windows Logo appears and another 60 seconds until the Icons appear, and another 60 seconds until I can activate my Auto-Cad. But also it is so heavy-it's back breaker. Found nothing on line that can help this computer to boot any faster, in the past 2-1/2 months.Read full review

This is now the fastest computer I won and it does not even have the second processor installed, or maximum RAM. My only complaint is the SCSI drives, which are very fast too, are not as large as is standard today. I can find no sign this computer was ever used prior to my ownership - all of it seems brand new, not even dusty.

I am giving a 4 stars, and mostly because it has done everything that I expected. Importantly its not as noisy as I thought, even with dual processors running. I will list cons so you get a better idea. Cons: -SATA II. So you are limited to only 3Gbit/s - 300 MB/s instead of the newer SATA III 6Gbit/s - 300 MB/s. If you need speed on your hard drives this is a huge factor. -It's really big. I use this as a desktop, and sucker is like a mini fridge, under the desk. -There are no filters for the fans, you need to clean the inside of your computer often, depending on environment.
