Saddest part is he tried to bribe me with $25, asking me not to leave this negative feedback. Avoid at all costs.

    SB5101U Modem

    Not the fastest modem but it works excellent in normal email/browsing use. If you are a gamer you would probably want something faster. It paid for itself in just 2 months in that I do not have to lease equipment from Time Warner.

    Crummy product. Get a better modem, don't settle for this.

    Although you can get by with this Modem it is only rated for about 25-30Mbps. If you are paying for a higher internet speed than this, then you are really just limiting yourself.

    Functional, Inexpensive, Good Value

    I needed to buy a cable modem for my daughter. She had recently changed her residence and the only broadband service available was ****ter Cable. I did not wish to participate in the ISP "lease" program for $5 per month. The purchase of the modem made much more sense. The modem was easy to set up and and proved perfectly fuctional when tied into a Netgear N300 router.

    Great modem.. AC power adapter is specific fit for this product

    This is a great modem. The one thing I would say is that the power AC adapter only fits for Motorola modems... you cannot use a regular AC 12V power adapter that you might use for other modems or routers. Other than that, I could not be more pleased with this product. Sped up my download rate 10x faster!

    Cheap and works like a charm

    Bought this used. All I had to do was call Time Warner Cable and give them the numbers on it and plug it in. Two minute set up! I run several devices through it (including two smart TVs) and it performs well plus I no longer have to pay monthly rent on the Time Warner modem.
