    Fantastic homelab server platform

    I have always been a fan of HP Enterprise server hardware. They were the backbone of our big data clusters at my previous position. I have recently begun toying with ESXi and needed more horsepower to do what I wanted to do with it. This server provides plenty of processing power and memory with room to expand. The SFF disk array provides plenty of storage bays to customize for your storage needs. I run this system 24/7 in my office constantly running 4 or 5 VMs, all loaded up to some degree, at very low noise and power usage. I currently an pulling 130 watts with all fans at around 13% speed. It is quieter than the switch it is plugged into! An added bonus is HP iLO, which is built into this machine. It provides remote administration and console services.
