This is a very fast SSD drive. I own 3 of these drives. 2 - 80gb and this 40gb. Windows Experience Index rates this drive at 7.7 Be sure to install the latest drivers when useing AHCI mode. It is recommended to run the the Intel SSD Tool Box once a week to keep this SSD drive in top condition. You will not be disappointed with this drive.
