Holds All-in-One PC
I bought two of these to hold Dell XPS 18" AIO PCs to movable arms. I padded the 'X' braces with some window foam and they are rock solid even with people hammering at the touch screen on the XPS all day.

Good mount for SOME non VESA monitors
This allows you to mount monitors to a VESA compatible stand if your monitor is not VESA compatible. This mount works perfectly on my Acer 230HL's. Assembling them is a bit of a pain, however once assembled they securely hold the monitor in place to the mount. You won't be able to vertically mount your monitor with these (unless its a smaller monitor) but it works great for 3 monitors horizontally on a triple screen stand (great for NVIDIA Surround / AMD Eyefinity). I do wish they were a bit cheaper for what they are, but they are worth it if you need to mount your non-VESA monitor. Edit: I tried it on a Acer 236HL BID and it covers up the ports. It varies per monitor but if the ports are more towards the bottom it *should* be fine. This allows you to mount monitors to a VESA compatible stand if your monitor is not VESA compatible.
