Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Trombones
It's easy to see why this trombone was a very popular model in the late 20's through mid 30's, This particular horn was restored, so it looks great and plays like it was new. In fact, the inner slide tubes are new. The silver finish and gold accents are new. Any dents have been fixed. It's a very good restoration. The instrument also still functions well at the purpose for which it was primarily designed: a professional level dance band horn. It still is a good lead horn, although the fashion in the trombone world has moved to bigger bore horns for most uses. In other words, through no fault of its own, this trombone is not as versatile as it would have been when new. The bore and bell are too small for a lot of modern work. Nice horn, though. Very nice blowing without much resistance, good smooth slide, good high range, acceptable low range.Read full review
