I didnt want to spend an arm and a leg for something i would hardly use, but this item works just fine, pretty sturdy, and holds my mac with no problems. The only thing, is how the feet are made, if you notice how its flat on the bottom (good) and then on the side it had an edge that gets taller (not so good) because it wont slide under some mixers/ turntables, etc. That would be the only thing i can tell you why it might not work for you.

It's good if you want a simple non adjustable stand for laptop, it has only 2 positions for u, flat or really angled. No in between, so that's a bummer...for the price I expected a better product., poorly made cheap product. I got a ultimate stand for 30$ and love it over this, and cheaper.

Very happy with this laptop stand. I use it for my macbook pro for live events and studio use. It's solid and sturdy and I know I can trust it to hold my baby even when the bass is boomin ans rumblin the tabletops.
