This keyboard is a good substitute, but don't expect the smoother action of Apple keyboards. The iHome is more like the microsoft style keyboards: higher key action and clacky sounding. However , it is an excellent value for those on a budget. If you use an Apple keyboard for all day work I would definitely consider an Apple KB again. But for the rest of us cash strapped folks this one takes more effort but is a good value.
