I wanted a toaster oven that my parents could easily use. I went to B & D because I trust their quality. I had a B & D before and I had it for many years. This B & D has additional features, such as the timer which is a great addition. I like the way the tray is attached for easy cleanup. My advice would be to immediately clean the tray after each use. I would recommend this toaster for its ease of use, and for the price.

My old toaster over, you pressed a button down, and it would toast. This toaster over you need to: 1. Make sure the top dial is set to toast. 2. Make sure the middle dial is set to toast. 3. Turn the bottom dial past 10 minutes. 4. Turn it back to where you want it. It's also takes longer to toast than my old toaster oven. But, that said, it does a really nice job toasting, once you figure out where to turn the dial to.

If you are familiar with toaster ovens, you know how unevenly they can perform as toasters or they more dry the toast than toast it but, so far, this is the best toast result from a toaster oven I've gotten and I've had at least 10 of one brand or another over the years. But it gets VERY hot so, you'll have to give a little space around the sides of the unit so things near it won't get hot. There are 3 dials and, well, I guess that is a small complaint. There was not a wide enough range on the bottom dial for you to see where you're going so, in order to get a decent setting for toasting, (which would be pretty low), you turn the knob just a tiny bit up but, because that setting is so low, you can't see it, you just kind of feel it. There is a little bit of hesitation on the dial at that point so, maybe that's what that's about but, I wasn't crazy about that. Read full review

Smaller than i expected. There is literally enough space to toast 4 pieces of bread. No more. But comes with 2 grease catchers and has 2 light bulbs instead of 1 so it cooks well. So don't expect a big full size toaster oven. This is a mini. But you can't beat the price for name brand equipment
