FedEx delivery person left unit outside by mud hole for a handicap person to get inside structure. Handicap person was present and asked if driver could get it closer but failed to even try to assist. Unit also set in a FedEx warehouse for three days, so shipping time sucked. Also, disappointed in the crazy taxes added on to final purchase. I would have went a different route if I knew taxes and shipping were going to add another $600 to final purchase amount. Nice piece of equipment though.

Runs well. Throttle could work better at very low speeds. Need better directions when putting unit together. Need weight over front wheel to keep it from slipping when going up hill. Shipping was fast.

Made of cheap metal. Broke at fork.
I have had other eTrikes, where over several years, the motor eventually fails, but the frame, wheel bearings, etc remained strong. The ZoomMe 3 is literally the worst, in terms of quality, than any other product I have owned or have ridden. Mine was purchased in June 2017. Since then, the wire harness to the motor controller had to be replaced, Reverse works intermittently, the headlight has burned out twice (ended up replacing with LED strips), the tires already need replacing, the wheel bearings are squeaking, and the fork broke at the neck, sending me to ground face first. When replacing the LEDs, I noticed that the resistor that limits current to the LED 'Light On' indicator and "Power On" indicator get smoking hot, actually causing the PCB to turn brown from the heat. When calculating the wattage that is dissipated by the SMD resistors, (although only running at about 11mA), is 4 TIMES their rated capacity! I repaired the fork myself by hammering a 1" cold bar down the neck of the fork and welded it. The metal almost dissolves, in comparison to quality metal, when cutting it or attempting to weld it. Save your money and time, buy something worthy of your expectations!
