I bought this card because I upgraded windows to 7-Pro from Vista and for some reason the on-board video which worked flawlessly with Vista caused 7 to crash when benchmarking the system even with the newest drivers from the manufacturer. This card gives me vastly improved choices for resolution and refresh and does not draw much power as it doesn't have a fan or the latest and greatest power hungry video processor. It installed and operated flawlessly right from the start... Just what I needed..

I just now installed the video card on my Biostar MCP6P6-M2+ mainboard. Windows 8 Pro 64-bit found and installed the drivers for the device. It shows the NVIDIA icon in the notifications. I bought it so I could free up memory for the computer and use the full amount of installed memory. I like this type of video card because it has both the VGA and DVI output connectors. This accommodates older monitors that use the VGA connections and newer monitors that use the DVI connections with out needing an adapter. Its not a fancy board, but its perfect for my computing needs. :)
