Buyer beware. This seller sent me a beaten up scanner and the scanner broken. Check out the pictures. He asked for pictures so he can submit claim, so I sent him multiple pictures of all sides of the packing box, inside packing material, and broken scanner glass. Seller never got back to me on status of claim and stopped responding on status of claim. He initially said it will just take 1-2 weeks. Its now more than 6 weeks since I first contacted seller. Very dishonest seller. Beware!!!

Warning. THis buyer will not comply. They were sent a scanner that broke. The insurance comapny needed specific pictures and this buyer instead of complying threw a hissy fit. We worked with Fedex who extended the claim 2 days. Instead of the buyer sending us the pictures they complained and time elapsed where fedex could not longer file a claim. Instead of throwing a fit next time, you might want to try to work with the sellers.

    Exactly what I needed.

    I don't need a tablet, really. I've got a MacBook Air and an iPhone and a Kindle and between the three of those, I have all the mobile computing power I need. But I also work in academic research and I'm a comics fan, and when it comes to journal article PDFs and digital comics, none of those devices has a screen the right size for reading. So I didn't need to spend hundreds of dollars I didn't have on a fancy new iPad; I just needed a 9-inch screen to read on. That's it. That's all. This one was $80 or something and I realized that after complaining for two years about my reading situation, that was a legit price to pay to shut myself up. I'm reading comics on this now, I've got all the articles for my current project organized and highlighted. I can't get the best apps because it's still ...

    Ipad--old generation tablet!!!!

    Was not aware this version of Ipad was so limited. Could not download or play candy crush on this version. The app would not download. Do not bother with buying this tablet. Spend the extra money and buy a newer version. I don't think this verion is supported by apple any longer. Disappointing!!!!!!

    Have to get one as everybody is using it. Wait for iPad3 if you are loaded.

    I bought it used to save some bucks. Last owner wiped out OS, no big deal if you know the drill. Found out my windows 64bit doesn't work well with iTunes and iPad, may be only my mistake. Have to use another computer with windows 32bit. Best thing about iPad is it wakes up quickly from sleep mode. Windows always have problem in this area. There is no filing system. So basically it is good to surf and read emails, but if you want to download files from mails for you have to reorient your thinking. Another thing about apples is you have to pay for many things. For cheapies like me, better stick with windows.

    Great when no wi-fi around

    wanted the 3G model for the times when i cannot avail myself of wi-fi spots. happened this summer on vacation. condo was supposed to have internet but turned out didn't. my brother in law was able to connect through a 3G card for his laptop and i figured i should get a 3G iPad. the newer iPad 3G's were a bit out of my price range but the older "classic" model were very reasonable. i sold the wi-fi 64GB iPad i had and picked this beauty up. synced up all the Apps and content i had and works Great. didn't know you have to go to an AT&T store to get a simm card and set up an account but they were very nice and it took like 15 minutes. i don't have to use the 3G all that much but nice to have it when i want to stay connected and no wi-fi about.

    Nice Device

    I really like this tablet. It's not blazing fast, but it's solid. I've dropped it a few times with no apparent damage. I plan on getting a data card for it, and am hoping my choice isn't limited to AT&T as a carrier. Very pleased even if it is a 1st generation product.
