Lexmark 100 Print Head Saved Me From Purchasing a New Printer
When I got a message in my computer from my old Lexmark S305 Impact printer saying that there was a problem with the print head, I looked at all the obvious things: cleaning, alignment, cartridge placement, etc. But after an email from Lexmark's technical help, I looked closer at the print head, only to discover that there was a burn mark in the copper contacts at the bottom of the head. I was happy to find this replacement head and even happier when installing it solved the problem. This has saved me from throwing away this printer (which still is working well) and purchasing a new one. One might be thinking that Lexmark actually shot themselves in the foot on this, but actually just the opposite. I am more inclined to buy from Lexmark in the future. As for the print head, it got ... Printhead a Good Investment
Installation was very easy. My printer has lasted much longer because I could buy a printhead for a fraction of the cost of a new printer. This is the second printhead I have purchased, but my printer is almost 10 years old.

The worlds most fussiest printer
I have a Lexmark/Dell printer - don't know what drugs they were on with this printer design - but it isn't the most efficient. Instead of junking the whole thing - I tried the printerhead fix. Ha! A new printerhead made the printer work perfectly. No more hours of cleaning and soaking the former printhead trying to make it function. Life is swell.
