Not quite premier tek
I purchased this device as a gift along with a couple other Bluetooth adapters. I will say this one rates lowest of the three. Starting off, the music comes through loud, but not crisp. Treble and vocals in songs sound a little muddled. Bass response is again loud, but does have the clean pops and bang the other similarly priced Bluetooth adapters at this price range have. Pros: compact, easily connects to device, works while being charged. Has a mic for calls. Cons: Battery life (rated at 5 hours on box, lasted almost 4) when battery was low audio quality declined as it intermittently faded. Mic picks up sound artifacts and clicks from even just holding adapter in hand. Most importantly, poor sound quality. I will not buy again. Similarly priced alternatives offer better ... Brilliant bluetooth adaptor let down by battery
The actual function of this unit is pretty impressive, the sound clarity was good, no issues with the onboard microphone when making speakerphone calls, and it paired without drama to my smartphone. I was impressed by the fact that it has an internal battery that it can run off of while playing back my music in my car. What is less impressive, however is that the device cannot be charged while in use or be operated while plugged into power. The battery lasted a good 6 hours continuously, but that wasn't enough for me as I am in my car for 8 to 10 hours a day in the course of my work. If your usage cycle allows you only have to use it a couple hours a day and the ability to charge it every few days this adapter should work well for you, however if you need to use it any longer than 6 hours ... Connection paired easily. Turned it off, attempted to connect again. Would not connect. Unpaired, then paired again. Connected. Minor pain point. Playback is mono, not stereo. Reconnected multiple times to my iPhone8, which is paired to other BT devices and works without issues. It could be this unit that is defective, but ease of use and convenience is nullified by connection failures and mono playback. Would not recommend.Connection paired easily. This product is SO SO
I been using this item everyday for the past month.. I don't like it because it slips out of the socket too much when driving .. Every time I hit a bump I get disconnected. I have to re-insert it. It's annoying... I also can't charge it while driving so after I use up the time on the battery it's dead in the water.
