This Macbook Pro Power Adapter works as it should for powering my Macbook Pro. If possible give it enough airflow around it to keep it cool as it does get warm. Price was good and much less expensive than buying one thru Apple. I gave this 4 stars only because these power adapters do not last forever; whether it came from the Apple store or online on eBay. They do "wear-out" and fail. That said it might be wise to keep a spare one handy when it fails.

I bought this macbook pro AC adapter charger for my dad because his old one died. Unfortunately, it only works to power on the computer and not charge it. I left it plugged in for several hours and it failed to charge the battery at all. If you're looking for a cheap way to power on your macbook when kept plugged in, then this could work, but don't trust it as a replacement charger.
