Buying new ink cartridges are a given when buying a used printer and this was mentioned in the product review, however, it also needed a new set of print heads. Would not print correctly out of the box. Ordered and installed new print heads and it works good now. Wish I knew in advance, would have been helpful.

Decided on the Premium Plus for it's wireless and paper handling quantity. The primary tray works fine but the second (bottom) tray is somewhat cheaply made and tends to be troublesome to close. As for the printing...very good. Loaded with features and relatively quiet. Looks great on my desk! If you're considering an 8500 Pro Premium, the single tray model is a better bargain. All in all, i'm satisfied with this printer.
Replaced a previous identical printer and this one works as well as the old one did before the touch screen interface went out. Very happy!
