This is a nice machine for an extra computer or even as your main computer. It doesn't have much battery life - less than 3 hours, but that's not a problem if you're not planning to use it for travel much. It's very fast compared to my desktop machine which is dying. I use this one as my main computer with a separate 22" monitor. It doesn't have a number pad but that's no problem since I'm using a dongle-activated full-size keyboard and mouse. The cover is very pretty - purple stripes, looks lovely on the side of my desk :-) The price was very affordable. quite happy with this computer.
