CURRENTLY SOLD OUT
Much like today's forces, the troopers of the 1800's carried their "spare parts" and maintenance personnel with them. Although they didn't have the extreme luxury of C-117's and container ships to facilitate their Combat and Service Support missions, they did have farriers and saddlers and the individual troopers were trained in horseshoeing as well. This nail, along with others offered here & there, represents that one small feature of the daily lives of those who were representative of our nation's "thin blue line".
