This Printer, Scanner & Copier is easy to use and maintain. The Black T0529 and Color T0530 cartridges are easy to exchange (and refill!) You can also use Dell's moderate use cartridges...N5878 & N5882 for occasional printing. (These are the cartridges the Dell 720 also uses.) Scanning is also a breeze with the included scanning and photo touchup programs. If you have used the Lexmark X1150 or similar, this printer works the same. You must be attached to a computer to make color or black & white copies, but this is usually not a problem. I have never had a problem with Dell (Lexmark) printers...they last a long time. Feel free to eMail me if you have any questions!
THis printer is great. It has color/blk ink and scans and faxes and makes copies. It does print out slow, not made for high volume stuff, however, I think it was perfect for my home Ebay business for things like printing out postage labels and making copies for your records. I got a great deal on it, the only back fall is the ink for it...you used to have to buy from dell only,I found out now you can get it at Staples. Fortunately, the ebayer i bought this printer from included 2 extra black ink cartridges, so I am not sure of how expensive ink will be for this one.
it is a very good product by dell and this man adamk56 helped me set it up,he is a very kind man and knows his business as well as he teaches computers, this is what ebay needs, people who sell their products to know about them, as well as sell them.... this is the trouble with electronics that are sold, peole do not know about them that sell them, this is what is needed at all times i had a dell printer but it broke afer 4 years the rollers went in the right side it costs me at that time 108.00 on ebay there is a big difference as u are aware of this . a a920 to me is one of the best and most reliable ones around, the ink is very reasonable at other places then dell for they charge to very much, ebay has other peole that sell this at a discount, i used many other printers and to me this is the best one around, as far as photos go, i have no clue to this, all i can tell u is what i do with it, i print only, use color and black and white and it is very clear at all timesRead full review
I bought this printer to replace the original Dell All-in-one that I got when I got my PC a couple years ago. It was the first printer/scanner/copier I'd ever gotten, so I don't have much to compare it. However, for home use, it's been a workhorse. I've scanned book pages, old photos, newspaper articles and kids' artwork. All have come out great and I can touch the up. The only negative is that it's ink cartridges are expensive and the printer itself is slow when it prints color. But, I'd still recommend this printer in a heartbeat if you are a home user.
It came free when I bought my laptop from Dell. Worked fine for a couple years. Quit working after filling my drawer with about $150 in ink cartridges. The ink cartridges do not last very long at all, are very expensive, often have problems drying out and nozzles plugging. Print quality not poor, but not impressive. Although the all-in-one was 'free,' it costs $50 to $60 every time ink cartridges are replaced. When the nozzles plug, it soaks the paper when running the cleaning utility. It takes at least a few sheets of paper to get nozzles mostly clean. Scan quality was about average. Now, none of the buttons work, but it prints ok. Have to waste lots of paper and ink getting good results though. Even if free and would work trouble free, this printer will break you up in paper and ink. If it breaks on you and you have ink on hand, you are pretty much stuck with it.Read full review
