Going from a 60Hz 1080P monitor to this one was truly an experience. It definitely ruins you. In the sense that you'll never want to go back to 60Hz again. Gaming is smooth as butter and going from HD to 2K is a very nice bump. Even just for general use like web browsing this monitor is nice. For me anyways, just getting over 100FPS in games is the most noticeable. The difference from 120 to 150 for example is not as noticeable. But from what I understand this varies from person to person. Just make sure you have a computer to push the extra pixels in games. If you're going from FHD to this QHD monitor your graphics card has to go from dealing with a tad over 2 million pixels to almost 3.7 million. My current build has a 1080 ti and a Ryzen 2600x with DDR4 3200 RAM. On a side note, I believe there are a few 27 inch IPS monitors with the same specs offered by various manufacturers and based on some research they likely all have the same panel. So I'd just buy what's the cheapest if this is the monitor you're looking for.Read full review
