Posting this review after owning the item several weeks and washing well over 20 loads. The machine works very well for what it is, which is a simple NON-automatic clothes washer and spinner for use where space is limited and laundry hook-ups unavailable. Inside the plastic machine you'll find 3 powerful motors: one direct-drive high-speed motor for the spinning centrifuge, one reversing motor for the belt-driven pulsator at the bottom of the tub, and one pump to pump the water from each chamber. An automatic washer has a microprocessor making timed decisions: fill the tub with water, agitate for 15 minutes, drain, rinse, spin, etc. With this unit YOU are the microprocessor. You put as much water (at whatever temperature you wish) into the tub. You turn a switch to make it agitate for up to 15 minutes. You turn another switch to drain out the water. You fill it again with rinse water. Another agitation cycle. Another draining, etc. Some coin-op laundromats used to have large centrifuges, for spinning most of the water out of the clothes to reduce the time required for heat drying. The spin side of this machine is an excellent example of that, removing 80-90 percent of the moisture, and giving the option of infusing that process with rinse water (which I have found unnecessary if clothes are rinsed thoroughly on the washer side). Hanging the clothes for the rest of the drying time will finish the job. I usually add a very small amount of liquid fabric softener to the final rinse on the washer side. The only defects I have found with the machine (other than it not being a thousand-dollar stainless-steel computerized marvel) are the flimsy nature of the inlet and drain hoses (handle with care), and I can't tell any difference between the "soft" and "normal" agitation cycles (perhaps my machine is defective in that regard). Through trial-and-error I have this advice: 1) Use enough water to float the clothes and provide relative freedom of movement. Signs you're not providing enough water (or trying to wash too large a load) is if you find tiny black bits of the rubber belt beneath the machine, or if the machine seems to groan beneath the weight of the clothes. 2) After use, towel dry the tubs and leave the lids open for a while. 3) If the drain cycle seems inefficient, tilting the hose back up against the machine seems to prime the pump and remove vapor lock. 4) Use just enough liquid detergent as your load requires, to eliminate rinse cycles. 5) You will have to rearrange the items in both sides for efficient use. In the washer side, long items and sleeves tend to become twisted and knotted and should be disentangled between cycles. In the spin side, an unbalanced load will be noisy and slow, and need to be rearranged.Read full review

I have only had this product for three weeks, however, for the very low (under $100.00, including shipping) price I couldn't ask for a better product. The first thing I washed was my king sized sheets (1 @ a time) and it washed them better than I had expected! I can now wash just about everything I own (except for my king sized comforter). I bought one of those lint catchers that hang on the inside of the washer (the one that comes with the machine doesn't work in the slightest, my ONLY complaint!) and it works a LOT better than the one that came attached to the machine. I still "lint brush" my black items, like my work pants, with a lint brush I bought at Dollar Tree (works!), but other than that, this machine has been a 'lil power house. I use it on a daily basis to wash the clothes I wore that day. Like I said in the beginning of this review, I've only had this machine for about three weeks, but I really do love it! Dec 21, 2016 . . . A half a week later Update Well, a half a week later after giving this product RAVE Reviews, it's not such a great product after all. The pump has gone kaplewee (doesn't work) and the spinner is hit or miss (it has to be ABSOLUTELY balanced). I've had mini washers like these before and they have worked outstanding. From now on I will stick with either the Panda or Laundry Alternative brands. These two brands have NEVER failed me.Read full review

I wanted to use this for a few weeks before leaving a review. It's been doing well so far, it doesn't too make much noise when spin drying (the spin dryer is pretty good, it takes out the water of the clothes). A bit of physical labor goes into using this but that is expected. It's nice that I don't have to drag my laundry out of my home for washing unless I want to. I look forward to the continuous use of the machine, especially in the winter. I might just save up to buy a mini dryer to go with this.

In the past I had a version of one of these that was disappointing as it never spin dry the clothes very well. I was pleasantly surprised at how dry this one got a small to medium load. I had already bought one of those cheap vintage dryers and I really don't need it as this will dry clothes well enough for them to be ready overnight. The drawback is you have to pay a lot of attention to it. You've got to make sure you don't overfill it on the wash cycle then you move it to the spin bucket for a quick run then you have to watch it again as you move the clothes back to the main tub for rinsing, then back to the spin tub for the final spin. So you have to be careful not to cause a flood by overfilling it twice per load and make sure the drain hose is an inappropriate place to drain. It has a long hose and pump the water out so it shouldn't be a problem but you do need to keep an eye on it just in case. Overall for the price I highly recommend it if you live in an apartment or other place without hookups or for a single person.Read full review

we purchased this unit for our rv.. upon arrival I tried it out at the kitchen sink in the house.. unit performed just as described..i want consumers to know this is not a residential unit so don't expect that.. you will have to somewhat babysit the machine when you are doing laundry.. don't over load it.. spin drum holds about half the capacity of the wash drum.. I see people online opening the spin drum lid mid cycle I don't suggest it. set a time and let it finish. as I opened the unit to check it out there is a brake shoe on the spin drum for emergencies to stop it if someone or a child were to open it unexpectedly. this is a ware item and a cheap one at that I could see it wearing out. I will not try to overload it and let the machine do its thing and I feel it will last (wouldn't abuse it).overall I am impressed and for $90 I guess if you get a couple years out of it trash it and order another.. other rv combo units can cost up to $1200 and wash time on them is 2-3 hours.. this is a throw away when it fails not a I hope I can get my expensive unit repaired.. pros little water consumption compact could hard plum in or set in rv shower for the money ide recommend it cons cheap hoses cheap parts cheaply made however $90 I can look past that if it last a couple yearsRead full review
