Waaaaaay back in the mid 1960's my family temporarily moved to an apartment that had no laundry facilities. My dad bought a Hoover washing machine that was very similar to this sweet little machine. I have to admit I bought it more out of a sentimental whim rather than neccessity. Once I received it I couldn't wait to use it. It was larger than I expected and I immediately put it to work. I made a huge watery mess on the kitchen floor until I figured out the drain hose process. No big deal. Mopped it up. Once I got the hang of it, I had a blast. I will probably use this primarily as a backup washer. I am too lazy to hand wash lingerie and my normal washing machine destroys my underwire bras despite using the gentle cycle. This machine will be perfect for delicates since the agitator is more gentle than a full size machine. The spin dry is terrific. I washed 6 pillow cases and spun them for about 5 minutes. After hanging them on a drying rack they were dry in about 10 -15 minutes. Nifty little machine. It does a great job. It's lightweight and easy to move around. It comes fully assembled and ready to use immediately. I thought it was super quiet compared to my big machine. Highly recommend this washing machine.Read full review

I used this machine for the first time, today. PRO'S: 1) It runs very well. Better than I expected. 2) It's not noisy. Besides, I like the faint sounds of machines, fans etc.. 3) It washes clothes very well as long as you don't overfill it. It's made for small loads. 4) The spinner works wayyyy good. Clothes are almost dry. 5) It has a drain pump. CON'S: 1) The fill hose is pretty much useless. It's too short and doesn't fit my faucets. I used a bucket to put water in. Not a big deal. Can probably rig something up when I have time. 2) Even though the drain pump works good, all the water won't come out unless the drain hole is higher than where it's emptying into. My machine is in the bathtub and sits on the styrofoam pieces that were in the box, about 5 inches above the tub. Most of the water I drain into the toilet and the rest goes down bathtub drain. Easy Peasy. Overall, I am a happy camper. This washer worked way better than expected. And that smell you might be reading about in other reviews? It's not as bad as some people say. One last note: If you put greasy clothes in there, be prepaired to scrub the inside of the machine.Read full review

I did some research looking for a washer for my RV while camping. I kept coming back to this one. Very light and easy to move around, yet washes very well. Yes, the hoses could be longer and a better type, but sufficient. The spin cycle, when loaded properly, spins balanced and very quiet. When the spin cycle is over the clothes are almost dry. Very affordable, great machine for me to wash without seeking a landry mat and keeping a bunch of quarters around. That way I dont have to leave the area to wash things and I can keep up with dirty clothes, not letting them pile up and fester. Does a very good job. Holds more than I expected and the size is small enough to keep inside and out of the way. I can actually use it in my shower stall and let it drain there. Really a great product. With the proper care will work for a long time. Great customer service provided as well. Recommended for RV's, small dorms or a work shop area.Read full review

I love the washer. The clothes come out very clean. I only use the "soft" setting for agitation, as the "normal" setting looks to me as though it would be rough on the clothes. There were the following issues I had to solve: - The filling hose that comes with the washer is a joke. The material does not stretch to go over a faucet, and it is the thinnest, wimpiest plastic hose I've ever seen. I replaced it with a hose and faucet fitting from a home improvement store. - The washer has a pump to help it drain, however, the pump isn't very strong. With the washer sitting on the floor, I did a little testing. At first I had the end of the drain hose hooked over the edge of a bucket. That was too high for the pump. I lowered the drain hose a few inches at a time until it worked. The end of the drain hose could be only about 6" off the floor. I resolved the problem by elevating the washer and leaving the bucket on the floor. That's better for my back, anyway. - The instructions from the company are ATROCIOUS. They give details about things that are obvious, such as the timer switch (doesn't everyone know that you twist a timer switch like this one to set it?), and omit details such as how to rinse the clothes while spinning. I've seen bad instructions before, but I think these are the worst. - The instructions say that there are lines in the tub to indicate low, medium, and high water levels. There are no such lines. I guessed. - I don't recall instructions from the manual about amount of detergent to use. I was successful with two tablespoons of liquid Tide and 1 tablespoon of Clorox 2 in the tub. I used the water in the tub more than once before I drained it. (That is, the washer will take 4 or 5 t-shirts at a time, for example. I ran about three "loads" of t-shirts before I thought the water needed to be replaced.) The issues I've listed were annoying the first time I used the washer, but once resolved, the washer works like a champ!Read full review
