And by little, I mean it's slightly smaller than an original, at least in the grip area, not by a lot though. But for the price, they did a pretty good job of making a representative piece. Like many other imported repros on here, it does not come sharpened. Pretty easy to do yourself though. Again, At the price it's not really an issue, and most buyers aren't going to be using it as a combat knife anyway. This DOES include a sheath. It wasn't super clear that it did when I bought it. Its a pretty decent copy of an M6, made of leather of course, and it fits the knife well. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, and though I'm just an amateur historian, not a reenactor or living historian, I do think it would work well as part of a reenactor's kit. Who wants to break a real M3 anyway?

This knife was purchased as a "minty" item. The knife (about 70 years old) was in beautiful shape as was the scabbard. The M3 combat knife was manufactured by several different companies to meet the needs of the WWll soldier. Decent reproductions of this knife are still being manufactured. These reproductions look pretty good and do in fact, bear the names of a least two of the companies that manufactured them so many years ago. While affordable, they're reproductions. The reproductions cost about $85.00. An M3 combat knife that is in decent C+ condition should sell for about $250.00. A better quality knife commands a higher price. Please keep in mind that these knives while very much the same as one another (per government requirements) do have a pedigree! A knife made by one company may command a much higher price than a knife of similar quality that was manufactured by another maker.Read full review

This one serves as a substitute for my original as a wall hanger up high in the room with mine and dad's framed pictures, cloth patches and other unit insignia conversation pieces. It is the wall hanger ---

At this price you can't find a knife like this at all. Vey good quality leather sheath is well made. They only thing that surprised me is that the knife was not sharpened . That is not a problem at this price
