I bought this power supply to use as a replacement for the OEM DigiTech PS0913B-120 used on my Digitech RP-500 effects pedal. It did not work as a replacement for the OEM power supply as advertised, which was a great disappointment. So, my recommendation is don't waste your money on this power supply. My Story: The power supply could power the pedal so the the pedal lights would generate. However, it lacked the required OEM attributes so that a selected pedal effect would generate an audible tone. An OEM power supply really is required if you read DigiTech's FAQ's posted on their website. I subsequently bought an OEM power supply, and it generated the desired tone when I plugged it in. Consequently this "super" power supply proved itself NOT to be the OEM replacement as was ... I bought this power supply to use as a replacement for the OEM DigiTech PS0913B-120 used on my Digitech RP-500 effects pedal. Deceptive pictures and incomplete info
I purchased this adapter a few years ago for a Digitech product it said it was for. I was pleased because it was considerably smaller that the original and I was trying to reduce size. It worked fine but the current draw was almost 3A and this adapter is rated at 1A. I came in to see my unit blinking wildly and the adapter was extremely hot. After I let things cool down it was ok but I think I damaged the device by doing this. I pulled this out again because I needed an adapter for another Digitech product. The device specs show a 1A draw but the original power supply is rated at 1.3A. Does it work? Yes. Is it the best choice? Probably not. Listing has the exact specs blurred out and that is not cool. I show a pic of the actual item up close for you to decide. Other than that it does ... I purchased this adapter a few years ago for a Digitech product it said it was for. Does not work with Digitech XP100 Whammy.
If you are looking for an adaptor for your Digitech Whammy, specifically XP100 Whammy-Wah, look somewhere else. Does not work, you need an AC only adapter. AC/DC will NOT work.
