After the product arrived, it turned out that the seller mentioned somewhere in the description that there are cases for discs. But he set the price as if he were selling equipment full of disks. Great with a Display Port connection.
It is a great monitor, with one major flaw. The resolution is 2560x1600 for the Display Port connection. The resolution for the DVI connections is lower than that. The flaw is that it has two DUAL Link DVI ports on the outside of the monitor that each link to a SINGLE link DVI cards. So it shows as DUAL link on the exterior, but they are only single link. Once I received this monitor as a replacement for a failed monitor, I had to wait another week for the new video card that has Display Port connections on it so that I could achieve maximum resolution. This just seems like a big issue that should be mentioned on their description page for the device. If you research the issue that I am discussing, you will find on the Dell website that it is mentioned on the product's page.It is a great monitor, with one major flaw. Happy with my Dell u3014
The Dell u3014 monitor I got from ebay was a great value. The monitor was in excellent condition and performs flawlessly. The price was better than I could have hoped for. In comparison to my old monitor, the u3014 provides a great range of colors and a sharper image since it has a smaller pixel pitch. It also is bright and has good contrast. I have always enjoyed the 16:10 screen format. All my monitors and my laptop are 16:10. The extra deep screen seems to present much more information and makes things easier to see.The Dell u3014 monitor I got from ebay was a great value. The monitor was in excellent condition and performs flawlessly. The price was better than I could have hoped for.
