The cable is listed as being 6 feet long but it is only 4 feet long. It is unbranded with no retail packaging and shipped in a plain envelope. I also learned that hackers have figured out how to store virus payloads inside cables like this one. Soon as you plug it into your computer the virus executes and infects your system. Now I don't even want to use it...

This is simply a cheap USB cable with a 1394 connector on one end. USB and 1394 use very different protocols, so this cable can't possibly bridge the two without extra electronics...electronics it doesn't have.
