Ithaca #7 hanging/shelf \" \"Cottage\" calendar clock in fine condition. Old finish along with the original lower shelf is hard to find in these clocks. This clock can be used as a mantle clock or a hanging clock. It is walnut 25\" in height, with 5\" replaced paper time dial, and original 7\" Calendar dial with the opening for the pendulum. Circa 1865-70 as the 8-day brass striking movement is stamped E.N.Welch Mfg. Co. U.S.A. with a pat. date of 1870 I believe (hard to read, stamped lightly). I was reading that Welch had a rare club tooth escape wheel, not sure if this is the model though. Both movements need cleaning but everything appears to be there. Brass pendulum bob that hangs in the dial opening. Never a guarantee to running order for any clock I sell on .
