This is a very well made custom horse shank snaffle bit--loose jaw--1-1/2 in. wide side domed conchos--6-1/2 in. long shanks--it measures 5-1/4 in. wide because it is contoured and will be 5 in. when it is in the mouth of a horse--inlaid copper stripes--marked on inside of conchos J. Wilson--these bits work great on a variety of horses and are perfect to use after the ring snaffle training
Mr. Wilson is a graduate of the Elmer Miller Bit and Spur School and makes a few bits and spurs when he has time--this one has been in my collection for several years
