Up for sale is one of the most desirable Japanese tin robots that was ever manufactured, the 1957 Yonezawa directional robot. This robot is in 100% fully working condition, with operating lights and directional movement! The robot is in outstanding condition for its age, having been played with only a few times and stored safely for nearly 60 years in a private estate. Everything from the condition, directional movement, lights, and character of this robot are awesome! The robot has both \"JAPAN\" and the manufacturers mark on the bottom, and is also marked \"JAPAN\" on the front tin litho plate just below the robots head. When the back switch is pressed, the robot springs to life and will aimlessly travel until it hits something, then will usually reverse its movement and travel until its hits something again. The head spins and its eyes light up, sound can be heard from the internal movement (interestedly, the arms move via the robots motion but are not designed to go up and down.) This is one of the first famous battery powered Japanese robots that paved the way for many more unique and creative toys, and is in itself a piece of history!Condition: Excellent, very few scratches or dents, no missing pieces (antenna are complete: most are broken off), no yellowing or fading.
