Up for sale is this 12 inch (30.5 cm) diameter medium blue ground Meiji \"middle period\" cloisonne charger depicting kingfishers against foliage. This piece has a medium shiny finish, not the mirror finish of later \"golden age\" pieces.The charger is in generally good condition for its age except for one small loss on the rim that is hard to notice because of the color and which is pictured. It has the normal pitting and indentations from the firing and polishing process typical for these \"middle period\" pieces. Please note the sale does not include the stand. The item will be sent priority mail in a flat rate box tracked. I have found the hard way that these are best shipped separately so I do not recommend combining them for shipment.
