I got this 1991 John Deere 430 diesel garden tractor as a trade in it has 1914 hrs on the meter, has a 20 hp 3 cyl Yanmar liquid cooled engine that starts and runs awesome has a little oil leak but doesn\'t smoke or use any, There are a few dings in the grill screen and I had to repair the angle iron frame on the bottom of it, the front bumper has had a heavy duty angle welded to it for added strength. this is a strong engine, power steering, hydraulic deck lift as well as rear lift for the tiller, the lift cylinder has a tiny leak and does leak down overnight, has a shaft driven 60\" cutting deck with good blades, the deck has some surface rust and has been patched at the discharge opening but no other patches or holes and has good bearings and belt and cuts good. good battery, fresh oil and filter, new Michigan high back seat, and fresh paint, has lug tires on the rear with fluid in them and front tires are good and hold air fine, high low range on the hydro transmission, aux hydraulics on the front and differential lock pedal to give you positive traction when you need it. Dual pedal brake system for shorter turning radius like a farm tractor. This is a good solid tractor and is ready to go to work. The John Deere hydraulic tiller is 42\" wide and works fine, some wear on the tines but will last for a long time yet and are replaceable, includes pto extension adapter and its own hydraulic pump, lifts at the same time as the deck (same valve) but has its own fluid reservoir this is a good heavy duty tiller and is ready to tear it up!! The tiller lift and pump is a quick tatch system and is easily detached and attached This a good ole heavy duty tractor like the 420 only with a engine that will run forever, I can deliver locally or with in the state if you pay the fuel.
