Simply amazing. This a large size 7 1/2 Dobbs Fifteen fedora from 1940s or 50s that appears unworn. The hat is a rich light brown with a dark crimson ribbon, iconic tall crown and wide brim, and a Cavanagh Edge. The leather sweatband and silk lining show no visible signs of wear. The outside surfaces are stricken with barely visible mothbites, no holes, the largest of which is pictured in detail. There is a small faint stain on the ribbon at the back (pictured), a slight crease in the size tag (not prominent enough to be detectable in the photo), and some slight denting in the top of the crown presumably from decades of improper storage. This can be easily fixed with a good blocking, but will probably work itself out over time anyway. Otherwise this hat is practically new.
