Simply amazing. This a large size 7 1/2 fedora by Charvet from the 1940s or 50s that is in unbelievable condition for its age. The hat is a rich light brown with a medium reddish/brown ribbon, iconic tall crown and wide brim, and wind trolley. The exterior has a few tiny moth bites (largest pictured in detail) and the lining shows some faint spotting around the logo (also pictured). The trim, ribbons and sweatband are all perfect except for a very small crease in the leather. No cracks or separation. There is also some slight denting in the top of the crown presumably from decades of improper storage. This can be easily fixed with a good blocking, but will probably work itself out over time anyway. All in all you won\'t find a better hat unless you buy new-old-stock.
