A collection of compilers for programming languages of a bygone era, for Windows/MS-DOS

About Me
This CD will be of interest to old time programmers who probably still have programs lying around in some of these languages. You will need one of the commonly available unzip utilities, such as PKUNZIP or WinZip.
The various packages are at different levels of maturity and completeness, and I cannot certify that they are all worthwhile for any particular purpose. However, some of them, at least, are very good indeed. In addition to the software, I have included documentation, where possible, and HTML pages linking to a wealth of online resources.
This CD contains a selection of compilers. In addition, there are some useful internet links.
This collection is primarily of software hosted on Windows, DOS, and Linux. To a lesser extent, items may be specific to OS/2, and in a few cases, other hardware. The programs are either public domain or some kind of public license. Naturally, I cannot give assurances about the suitability of any package for a particular purpose.
I have included some documentation, where possible. In addition, packages contain documentation at varying levels of thoroughness, which you will see when you expand the archives in which they are stored. Note that there are various archive formats, which generally are appropriate to the area of applicability of the contents.
In addition, I have included copies of some web pages with very useful links.
